Dr. Bernadette Araba Adjei is the Deputy Director of the Legal and Monitoring Department of the Water Resources Commission of Ghana. Dr. ADJEI is a lawyer with 16 years’ experience in environmental law and water governance. She has been involved in the development and administration of a number of laws and regulations in the water sector in Ghana. Among these are water and buffer zone policies for Ghana, and regulations on administration of surface and groundwater use and management. She also has a wide knowledge in transboundary water resources governance and has collaborated with ECOWAS-WRCC, the Volta Basin Authority in West Africa and UNECE. Dr. Adjei has contributed to the following publications:
