Fan Zhang

Dr. Fan Zhang is Lecturer of International Law at the China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies (CIBOS) of Wuhan University, and permanent staff member of the International Water Law Academy (IWLA). She teaches the International Water Law course to second-year graduate students annually in CIBOS. As member of the IWLA, Dr. Zhang is involved in teaching and research in the field of international water law, territorial law, boundary management and general issues of public international law. Her publications include:

Bionote

 

Dr. Zhang received a PhD degree in International Law from Wuhan University School of Law, before that, she had a master degree in law, a bachelor's degree in law and a bachelor's degree in economics at Wuhan University. She also studied in the LLM program at New York University and the graduate-level program in international studies at the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies. She was academic visitor to the University of Dundee in 2017. She participated in the eighth session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (2018) with the delegation from the Ministry of Water Resources of China as representative from academia.
