Dale M. Campbell is an affiliate of the International Water Law Academy, Wuhan University. Ms. Campbell has 30 years of experience working on projects, publications and policy initiatives with various international organisations: the FAO China Office, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (Task Force on Environmental Protection and Economic Planning), the World Conservation Union (IUCN) - Asia Programme, the International Organization for Standardization – Assistant Editor, ISO Focus, Waterlex and the European Commission.

She has worked on issues in the water sector such as agriculture, desertification, biodiversity, water governance and public participation, climate change and wastewater. She helped develop IUCN’s China Programme on biodiversity conservation, environmental law and policy in collaboration the Asian regional team of IUCN with Chinese institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences.  She was part of the team at the UNESCO Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science that worked on the EU project STRIVER where she ran stakeholder workshops on IWRM and contributed to research reports and technical briefs. She contributed to the following reports and books:

Bionote

Dale Campbell did her undergraduate studies in Geography at the University of Toronto and holds an MSc from the University of London and an LL.M in International Water Law from the UNESCO Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science at the University of Dundee in Scotland. Her expertise in both science and law has proved useful in her project and policy work on the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements like the UNFCCC, the CBD and the UNCCD, as well as in her research on regional water conventions and treaties.
