Global Affiliates

Antti Belinskij is Professor of Environmental and Water Law with the Centre for Climate Change, Energy and Environmental Law (CCEEL) at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) Law School. Professor Belinskij is also a Research Professor at the Finnish Environment Institute Syke. He is the Chair of the Finnish Society for Environmental Law.He has around 20 years of research experience in the fields of water law (international, EU and Finnish), environmental law, and climate change law. Professor Belinskij has published widely in the field of environmental and water law and he has a lot of leadership experience from interdisciplinary research projects. He has collaborated with international institutions such as the UNECE and the World Bank. His publications include:

Bionote

Prior to his academic career, Prof. Belinskij worked at the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as a senior legal adviser where his duties included international water law issues. He holds a LL.D. (2011) from the Helsinki University.
